      League Overview

      Marin Wednesday Open Matches 2026 Series Combined weight competition: For a bit of interest we will be running a combined weight competition running from the 1st April to the 28th October (Weds 28th October will be the last match) This will be a total of 31 matches As £1 goes in the pot for every angler who fishes the Opens on Marin we currently have £73 which has rolled over from last year which will continue to roll over until the final match on the 28th October 2026, The combined weight competition will only include weights weighed in from the Wednesday Opens and the final pot will be split between the top 3 anglers (50% 30% 20%) with the next 7 best weights receiving a crate of beverages I will use the Hot Fishin’ Platform again to log all the weights and a leaderboard will published at least once a month with current positions (lbs & Ounces) I will also have a separate spreadsheet which will only contain lbs but the final result will be from the Hot Fishin’s Leaderboard.       The winner is the angler who has the best performance compared to the top eight in their match. Performance is measured by your net weight compared to the average net weight of the anglers in the top eight shown as a percentage.

      Club Match Hourly Bagger

      Club match anglers are ranked by the best average weight per hour and the top 3 positions win a percentage of the total entry prize pot. The remaining pot is distributed to the rest of the contestants in equal prizes each week.
